This privacy policy describes how the yt-automation application (the “App”) handles data when used to manage the @FreelanceAILab Pinterest account.
Scope
The App is a personal automation tool used solely by the account owner to publish content to their own Pinterest profile. It does not provide any service to third parties and does not have any other users.
Data the App accesses
- The OAuth access token and refresh token granted by Pinterest, stored
locally on the owner’s machine in
secrets/pinterest_token.json. - Public information about the owner’s own Pinterest account (boards, pins) as needed to publish new pins.
- The owner’s content that is being published (titles, descriptions, image bytes, destination URLs).
Data the App does NOT access
- Any other Pinterest user’s account or content.
- Any user identifiers beyond the owner’s own.
- Cookies, IP addresses, or device identifiers from end users.
Data sharing
The App does not share, sell, or transmit any data to any third party. Tokens are stored locally only.
Retention
Tokens are retained until the owner revokes them via Pinterest settings or deletes the local token file.
